My friend’s profile picture, says it all!

We were out of the college,

And, spreaded around by God’s grace,

Like the fragrance of agarbati,

dispersing from it birthplace!

I couldn’t track/meet them,

But in the virtual world,

Thanks to internet,

Orkut, facebook and twitter :)

My friend’s profile picture,

depicted it all,

Any time when I visited him,

His mood and life fully captured!

First I saw, he freed himself,

With carefree portraits,

Of Dil Chahata Hai or RGB fame,

In the hinterlands, beaches,

And sometime at far off places than mine!

Later, the profiles transcended,

with pictures of couples,

Sometimes with known faces,

With proud status: committed!

Accompanied with romantic verses,

And looks of Amir in JJWS!

I felt happy…

For that was simply marvelous :)

Few months later,

It got a new look,

With colorful, all smiling snaps,

Smelling the great-Indian-weddings,

And pictures of unison,

Another transcendence of title - Mr and Mss X!

Time passed by,

The smiling couple’s portrait,

Often kept saying - “All is well”,

With pictures of a Diwali or a family get together,

That I had not seen earlier!

One fine day, I visited him,

And there is a cute new born baby,

Adorned with flowery garments,

Inherited my friends aura,

And, declared the end of my friend’s era!

I just kept on smiling,

With a cute happiness inside,

And, in the next email from him,

He Signed off saying,

Mr n Misses X, and Y!
